At Village Lift, we create livelihoods for disadvantaged women in rural areas worldwide. Through fair wages, we empower them to support themselves and their families. But our commitment goes beyond fair wages. Village Lift builds women’s training centers and children’s school to ensure long-term sustainability for future generations.
While Village Lift “lifts” individuals through education, skills training and livelihood projects, from time to time we “lift” their spirits through distribution of clothes and food, especially to disadvantaged children.
Village Lift firmly believes that a robust foundation in childhood education lays the cornerstone for a financially secure future. We support school age children to ensure that they complete their high school education and successfully enter College or Vocational School.
At Village Lift, we support training of men and women so that they can earn a livelihood and achieve self-sustainability. These are men and women living under very challenging conditions with minimal opportunities.
We are also passionate about our local community in the U.S.. We partner with women-owned main street stores in small towns that are struggling to stay afloat amidst the rise of big box stores and online giants. In addition, we support local non-profits focused on children’s education and women’s livelihood, thus doubling our impact, at home and abroad.
